SEWAIYAN (Vermicelli )
Description
Vermicelli is a type of pasta made primarily from wheat flour (maida) or wheat semolina (suji)), water, and sometimes salt. In addition to wheat-based varieties, other ingredients can be used, such as whole wheat flour, rice flour, millet, tapioca, or soya bean flour. The most common type in India is made from semolina and is used in sweet dishes like Kheer and savory dishes like upma. Maida vermicelli is not a great weight loss meal as it has a high glycemic index, and so it can cause blood sugar spikes. Vermicelli is super healthy and nutritious, which makes it a great breakfast option
